NEW DG FOR FISHERIES

Cape Town - The newly appointed and confirmed Director General of the South African Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, was presented to the media last week at an official celebration of the completion of a 40-day anchovy and sardine research survey by the department’s research vessel, Africana.

 

Michael Mlangeni takes over from the Acting DG Mortimer Manya. His focus is on closer cooperation and partnerships on the public private level and between big / bigger business assisting small and emerging businesses.
