International boat builder, Nautic Africa, has launched the Nautic Maritime Training Academy (NMTA) which offers theoretical and practical training in all aspects of vessel operation and maintenance.

SMALL SCALE FISHERIES POLICY IMPLEMENTATION STARTS
The Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) has commenced with the implementation of the Small‐Scale Fisheries Policy. DAFF will embark on a series of verification processes in communities from March 2016 to June 2016 in the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu‐Natal.
FIRST OF NINE NEW TUGS SET SAIL
